The Ghiya family is a reflection of its brand, both traditional and modern, living between their two homes, India and Italy. Akshat Ghiya, founder of Tallin, spent his childhood between Jaipur and Padua and learned from his father who has been trading gemstones to global jewellery houses for over 40 years, and his mother, a lover of all things beautiful, an artist and jewellery designer. When founding Tallin, Akshat wanted to create a brand that reflected his family’s strengths as well as their global narrative. The outcome, a line of handmade fine jewellery, mixing unusual stones and cuts, focused on modernizing traditional techniques and aesthetics.

Tallin pieces are designed by Akshat and his mother, Namrata, and are made by hand at the family owned Atelier within the walls of the old city of Jaipur.
